The BD Vacutainer® K₂EDTA Blood Collection Tube is a sterile, evacuated blood collection tube designed for the collection and preservation of whole blood specimens. The tube contains K₂EDTA (Dipotassium Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid), an anticoagulant that prevents blood clotting by binding calcium ions.
